Powder cores from micrometals
Powder cores are cores with an air gap distributed over the entire magnetic path, which results in a high pre-magnetisability and soft saturation behaviour.
DetailsFerrites from DMEGC
Ferrite cores are technical ceramics with optimised soft magnetic properties. In this process, a pre-sintered granulate is pressed into the desired shape and sintered in a process that takes several hours.
With a ground-in air gap, ferrites remain stable up to saturation when magnetised, but are highly temperature-dependent.
DetailsNanocrystalline cores from DMEGC
Nanocrystalline cores are wound from extremely thin tapes with a thickness of approx. 16 µm. This allows an extremely high permeability of up to 800,000 and a high saturation at an excellent temperature stability to be achieved.
