More efficient, more stable, more cost-effective
Micrometals Inc. takes its Sendust materials to a new level: Compared to the standard Sendust (MS), the new SP has reduced losses by about 40% (at 100mT, 50kHz).

At the same time, the higher saturation ensures more stable permeability and inductance, even at high DC offsets.
If more is needed, the new SM can be used. Here the losses are about 25% lower, but the inductance is even more stable with DC superimposition than SP.
Both new materials are particularly interesting for PFC and AC chokes, such as those used in solar inverters or fast-charging stations.
But that's not all: the new SP is also suitable for very high frequencies and even outperforms the previous high-frequency Sendust SH in the MHz range – a real alternative that combines performance and efficiency.
And the best thing? Both do not require expensive nickel and are therefore more cost-effective than OC or HF.
